Guidelines

Please adhere to the minimum proposal submission length/requirements.

Please note that reviewers may reject submissions if the written product shows exceedingly poor grammar or structure. For this reason, all papers and presentations—especially those written by non-native English speakers—should be proofread or copyedited prior to submission.

Proposal Submission Form

Only include author names on the submission form fields. Do not include the author name(s) and information in the uploaded submission file. All reviews are blind. After acceptance, prior to the early registration deadline, upload your final version and include this section.

Uploaded file format and file name

File formats accepted:

• Rich Text Format (.RTF)
• Microsoft (MS) Word (.DOC or .DOCX)
• Portable Document Format (.PDF)

File name:

• Can only contain the following characters: A-Z and 0-9
• Can have no dashes, spaces, underlines, or special characters
• File extensions are required for a successful upload.

Proceedings Guide

Authors will have a separate deadline for the proceedings guide, however may select an uploaded submission file through the form below to serve as this file. Only presented (by an author) papers will be included in the conference proceedings.

Receipt communication and changes

After submission, you will receive a confirmation message on the screen, as well as a copy of your submission via email. In case you need to make changes after submission, please email onlinepd@vcu.edu

Registering & Presenting

Presenters must pay the registration fee and are encouraged to actively participate in the conference.
