Designed for those with a working knowledge of basic electrical fundamentals and essential skills in the area of computer programming, this 40-hour course focuses on the use of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) for manufacturing and process control. Participants, such as engineers and manufacturing technicians, are introduced to the basics of PLC operation, interfacing PLCs to sensors and actuators, and programming PLCs for basic control tasks.
