Occupational Therapy

These online, self-paced continuing education courses, developed by the VCU College of Health Professions, equip practicing occupational therapists with modern, actionable skills to elevate daily client care.

In the 3D Printing and its Application course, practitioners learn to integrate additive manufacturing across diverse clinical and community settings to directly enhance rehabilitation, accessibility, and wellness. In the Design Thinking course, therapists gain a creative, client-centered framework to prototype and design custom-tailored interventions that meet unique patient needs.

As an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Approved Provider, these intermediate-level courses provide 0.65 continuing education units (CEUs).
