COVID-19 Update
In light of the latest COVID-19 developments, cultural competency and language classes will be held live-online for the Spring 2021 semester. Please check the return to campus website, One VCU: Responsible Together, for the latest news and updates.
The additional online course fee that is normally assessed to online courses is being waived for the spring 2021 semester. Tuition and other fees are still being assessed at the standard rates.

In partnership with the School of World Studies, conversation-based language classes are offered as a benefit to VCU and VCU Health employees, and are open to students and community members not currently enrolled in VCU academic programs. Classes introduce adult learners to different cultures, and are available for one academic credit. A tuition benefit or education assistance may be available to qualified employees. Contact Human Resources to determine eligibility.

Registration using a manual VCU OCPE Credit Registration Form is available. If you are an active nondegree-seeking student, you can enroll online through eServices.
